"...after looking for a job for 8 months, that could support her and her son and give her the money she needs to begin paying back her student loans from UCSD, she will be the new HR Coordinator at the Family Health Centers of San Diego.  Needless to say she is thrilled and will finally have health benefits for her son and herself as well as full time employment.

2013: A Year In Review

The Price Scholars Program had their largest graduating cohort in the history of the Program.

As part of the Price Scholars commitment to the program all Scholars perform volunteer service at eight local community oranizations/ During the past two years the graduating Price Scholars class of 2011 - 2013 have completed over 21,504 hours of Volunteer Service with our Community Partner Organizations. This translates to a total value of $365,568 of in kind support to non-profit organizations that work with the program or, an average of $11,793 per Price Scholar.
