Florentino Guizar and Isabelle Kay, dba Argentine Tango Concepts, teach Argentine Tango with
emphasis on movement, embrace and connection using an easy to
understand approach based on fundamentals of this sensual
passionate dance. We dance socially, perform for corporate

Mike and Judy Markov

Mike and Judy have been involved in many different and important ventures in the San Diego tango scene—They were founders of Milonga Sin Nombre, one of the oldest milongas in San Diego and because introducing tango to a younger generation was important to them they helped found the UCSD Tango Club and taught for several years through the UCSD Recreation Program. They have been principle dancers with TangoAlma for more than a decade.. |

Todd Martin and Marizabel Arango formed TangoAlma in 1999, and with their unique chemistry have become one of the most popular tango performing and teaching couples in California. Their performances have taken them across the continental United States, Hawaii and Mexico, sharing the stage with some of the world’s greatest tango dancers.. |
Eduardo Santana

Eduardo Santana, a native of Mexico City, has been dancing and learning about Argentine tango for about a decade, first as a hobby and later as part of his doctoral work in Communication at UCSD. While teaching, he focuses on exploring the wealth of the musical and dancing tango tradition, as well as the social dimension of the dance. He also enjoys DJing and talking to tango dancers... |
Rachel McRoberts and Maziar

Rachel and Maziar teach Argentine Tango with a focus on musicality and mechanics. Their goal is to create social dancers who feel relaxed, confident, and connected on the dance floor. Rachel has a strong background in ballet, modern, and post-modern dance. In addition to social dancing, Maziar, who has been dancing Tango for more than 8 years, shares his love of tango music as a DJ at milongas throughout San Diego.
